So I started a store on Zazzle's artist-driven sub-site Arts Projekt a few weeks ago. Since then I've slowly been populating the products section with new designs that I don't I've shared much at all until now. I just posted what might be my favorite design so far. It's a little ditty about how I strongly disapprove of decapitating mountains and making a big smelly mess.

Buttload of Petroleum
As most people these days I woke up pretty pissed at the wrongdoings done in the name of unfettered capitalism by corporate psychopaths. As usual my rage has been directed into the form of graphic design (aka effing around with Adobe apps). So this image was the result of my endeavors. I have no concerted campaign behind it. I just thought the BP logo should more accurately reflect the company's actual focus for the past 10 years, rather than the happy, shiny greentastic image their rebranding would have us believe. So I'm just putting it out there. Feel free to use the re-revamped logo as you please.
On a related note i was urged to make one of those Google search stories yesterday. Couldn't quite come up with anything romantic, or cute but...

New Hadron Colliderscope Comic:
I recently illustrated a comic written by my friend, Michael Bramley, for his sci-fi web comic series, Hadron Colliderscope. It's the innocent tale of a gentle insect-eating race, the Gum Rums.
If you all are interested, I'm thinking about posting some sketches and writing about the process of drawing the comic. Maybe a little later in the week.

I'm in an NPR promo video!
I'm the guy hand that comes from the right and draws the app menu, and later changes the thought bubble into a word bubble, and later writes the @NPRandroid at the end.
You can read about the making of the video on the blog director John Pavlus of Small Mammal. There you can also see a photo of our in-between-takes whiteboard doodles, including my scribble likeness of John himself. I'm not even sure he know's it's supposed to be him.
It was load of fun to be a part of the shoot along with Heather Willems of Image Think, who has plenty more whiteboard experience than I. I also met several other awesome artist type peoples who "build" the polished app in the vid, all of whom are listed in the NPR blog.
